Military columns, which will take part in the parade for the 80th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day, which falls on 27 March 2025, conducted a fulldressed rehearsal at the Nay Pyi Taw Parade Ground this morning.
During the rehearsal, officers, other ranks, female personnel from seven military columns marched rhythmically to the parade ground from Thittat ground under the parade programme, singing marching songs energetically to the accompaniment of the Tatmadaw (Army, Navy, Air) Military Band and the Myanmar Police Force Band.
Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win together with Union Minister for Defence General Maung Maung Aye, Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Kyaw Swa Lin, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Htein Win, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, Chairman of Armed Forces Day Organizing Committee Chief of Armed Forces Training Lt Gen Htein Win, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, Chairman of Armed Forces Day Organizing Management Committee Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command Maj-Gen Soe Min and officials, inspected parade columns.
First, the Vice-Senior General and party observed the positions of parade columns in the parade ground, arrangement of chairs for guests to the parade, the installation of SIS (Simultaneous Interpretation Systems) for foreign guests and the arrival of the VIP convoy together with a cavalry company.
Then, the Vice-Senior General and party inspected coordinated group flights of aircraft and helicopters from the Tatmadaw (Air), dress codes for standardbearers and columns, preparations for parade flags, parade small arms and military equipment and activities of parade companies in details and fulfilled the needs in coordination with officials.
Officers, other ranks, female military personnel, members of the female special operation task force from Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air), and the Myanmar Police Force together with aircraft and helicopters from Tatmadaw (Air) took part in the parade rehearsal.
