Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Iskander Azizov paid a courtesy call on Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing at the parlour of State Administration Council Chairman’s Office here this morning.
Also present at the call together with the Senior General were SAC Joint Secretary General Ye Win Oo and Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Lwin Oo.
The Russian ambassador was accompanied by the Russian military attaché to Myanmar and officials.
During the talks, views on the Senior General’s successful State Visit to the Russian Federation, during which, friendship and cooperation between the two countries could be further cemented, progress in implementing the agreements reached during the goodwill visit and materialization of the remaining parts through discussions, further promotion of cooperation between the parliaments of Myanmar and Russia, sending of delegations to study the parliaments of Russia, further cementing of cooperation in defence, humanitarian activities and other multiple sectors, and exchange of goodwill visits between the two countries were cordially exchanged.
