The Union Election Commission announced on February 20 that it had granted registration to the Kayah State People’s Party (KySPP).
The party was registered in accordance with Section 9 of the Political Parties Registration Law, and the registration number had assigned 56.
Currently, a total of 69 parties have applied for registration. Among them, 50 parties have applied under Section 25 of the Political Parties Registration Law to continue as political parties, while 19 parties have applied under Section 3 of the same law as of January 23.
