Yangon’s Sitagu Eye Hospital helped people with poor eyesight for the 10th time through its eyesight donation program. 13245 patients underwent medical examination, 4031 underwent surgery, and 236 underwent laser treatment.
The 10th time donation was successfully concluded from 10 to 17 February, it said.
Outpatient medical examinations were conducted between 10 and 13 February, surgeries were performed between 12 and 16 February, and a re-check was provided for all patients on 17 February. As part of the 10th time, 1881 patients were examined, 487 underwent surgery, and 17 underwent laser treatment, it said.
The hospital credits eye surgeons, physicians, nurses, medical assistants, Red Cross members, donors, and volunteers with the success, according to the hospital.
It is estimated that the 11th time will be held on 26 March, and registrations can be made around 15 March, it said. #Sitagu_Eye_Hospital #Myanmar #mtnews
