More than 300 Japanese companies have offered to recruit over 1,100 Myanmar workers, including over 870 women, according to data released by the Myanmar Embassy in Tokyo on February 15.
Among the workers to be recruited by Japan, 873 are Myanmar women and 273 men, totaling 1,146, have been offered by 325 Japanese companies.
The Myanmar Embassy in Tokyo has verified whether the labor supervision company and the factory companies that will recruit the workers are legally established in Japan regarding the job offers sent by the Ministry of Labor through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar.
On January 31, more than 450 Japanese companies sent job offers to recruit over 310 Myanmar men and over 1,100 women, totaling over 1,500 workers.
