KIA and PDF terrorists set fire to 791 houses in Sagaing, Magway, Chin and Kachin, Tatmadaw Information Team announced today.
513 houses in Sagaing Region, 28 houses in Magway Region, 220 houses in Chin State and 30 houses in Kachin State were ashed down by KIA and PDF terrorists without any reason in 2022, the statement said.
As villagers, who are unbearable terror acts, secretly informed that KIA and PDF terrorists were committing destructive acts and taking position in Alaltaw Village, Htee Gyaint Township of Sagaing Region, security forces conducted necessary security measures in the village at 9.40 am on 28 November. KIA and PDF terrorists opened fire with heavy weapons and small arms and security forces counterattacked. The terrorists set ablaze the houses while retreating to the west of the village, leaving 250 houses destroyed in fire, stated by the statement.
Similarly, while the security forces conducted necessary security operations in Inntain Village, Htee Gyaint Township at 9.20 am on 30 November, KIA and PDF opened fire with heavy weapons and small arms and the security forces counterattacked. The terrorists set ablaze the houses along Inntain Village and Laythakone Village while retreating to the southwest of the village, leaving 108 houses destroyed in fire.
Currently, people were unroofed and sheltered at the monatery and some of them, at the4 nearest relative’s homes. Those who are related with the incident will be taken actions effectively under the law, the statement stated.
