The rehearsal for the opening ceremony of the Union-level MSME Product Exhibition and Competition was held this morningat the Tabaung grounds of the Uppatasanti Pagoda in Nay Pyi Taw. Chairman of the Work Committee for the Development of Small, Medium, and Large Enterprises Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice- Senior General Soe Win attended and inspected the event.
The ceremony was attended by Union Ministers, the Chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council, the Commander of the Nay Pyi Taw Command, Deputy Ministers who are chairpersons of Sub-Committees, Agency chairpersons from the Nay Pyi Taw Council, regions and states, responsible officials from various organizations, exhibition in-charges, department heads, traditional cultural dance troupes, and other responsible personnel.
First, Vice-Senior General Soe Win observed and inspected the rehearsal for the opening ceremony of the MSME Product Exhibition and Competition, following the planned program.
Afterwards, the Vice-Senior General and party visited various exhibition halls, including ministry exhibition halls, region/ state exhibition halls, the Digital Corner technology exhibition, the MSME-linked business exhibition, and the Business Matching Hall. At the Business Matching Hall, commercial attachés from Myanmar embassies abroad and domestic entrepreneurs seeking to export their products were facilitated to connect and collaborate.
Additionally, they visited the demonstration hall of the Ministry of Information, which provides advertising production services for entrepreneurs, as well as exhibitions of foreign machinery and products, small-scale industries and handicrafts, and cooperative product displays. They reviewed the comprehensive arrangements of each exhibition and provided necessary guidance, coordinating with responsible officials to address requirements.
The Union-level MSME Product Exhibition and Competition will be held at the Tabaung grounds of the Uppatasanti Pagoda in Nay Pyi Taw from February 10 to 14. The event will feature a total of 96 exhibition halls, including ministry exhibition halls, region/state exhibition halls, traditional ethnic food stalls, business-to-business (B2B) networking, technology exhibitions, foreign machinery and product exhibitions, smallscale industries and handicrafts, and cooperative product displays. The exhibition will be lively and vibrant, offering a wide range of products for sale. In the product competitions, a total of 31 categories of awards will be presented, including Digital Trophies, certificates of honor, and cash prizes.
Cash prizes will be awarded through a Digital Payment System, allowing winners to instantly withdraw the funds via E Banking.
