According to reports released by the Central Bank of Myanmar(CBM), it sold 1.147 million Chinese Yuan and 1.5 Lakh USD again on January 17 (yesterday) and 1 million Thai Bah on January 16.
In just over two weeks, from January 2 to January 17, the CBM sold 108.911 million USD, 7.032 million Thai Baht and 4.483 million Chinese Yuan.
Additionally, the need for USD was generally high due to the New Year holidays and import demands. In December, the CBM sold up to 143.250 million USD, 321.871 million Thai Baht, and 10.978 million Chinese Yuan.
