The 7 EAO Alliance discussed expanding domestic political frameworks to overcome current political difficulties during the meeting of the leading group (3/2025) of the ethnic armed organizations’ (7) alliance.
On January 14, 2025, the 7 EAO Alliance’s leading group met to discuss expanding domestic political frameworks, with 22 attendees including key leaders and committee coordinators.
During the meeting, discussions were held on the current political, military, economic, and social challenges faced by the public daily. The group analyzed the difficulties and outlined key actions to overcome the current political crisis, including preparing for potential political developments in 2025, ensuring the participation of all stakeholders in political dialogues, promoting peace processes, enhancing coordination and cooperation within the EAOs, and expanding domestic political frameworks. These five points were identified as areas to continue working on in the future.
