Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russian Federation and First Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Russian Ground Forces Colonel-General Kim Alexey Rostislavovich discussed further promotion of cooperation in education, health and technological measures including defence between the two armed forces of both countries.
Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russian Federation and First Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Russian Ground Forces Colonel-General Kim Alexey Rostislavovich who is in Nay Pyi Taw on 29 November.
They cordially exchanged views on cooperation in counter-terrorism, sending of Myanmar Tatmadaw’s scholarship students to Russia, enhancement of friendly relations between the two armed forces, participation of Myanmar Tatmadaw in the cultural contest and army games held in the Russian Federation.
In addition, they discussed bilateral exchange measures, strategically cooperation in economic and technological sectors of both countries, emphasis placed by every country to combat terrorism across the world at present, and situation of cooperation in counter-terrorism between two armed forces of Myanmar and Russia to contribute to regional peace and world’s peace measures on the other hand.
