The Venerable Navadhutingasara Maha Thera Sayadaw of Hinthada, Ayeyarwady Region, passed away while performing the Dhutin in a sitting position at 5:40 am on 13 January.
The Venerable’s body is currently placed on the seat where he passed away, surrounded by glass and will be offered for seven (7) days. The Venerable was in good health and was performing nine (9) Dhutins. He was 76 years old and 52 years vasa old at the time of his passing.
