The COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted for the travellers entering Myanmar through international commercial flights as of 1 December, Information Team of State Administration Council released on 29 November.
At present, the COVID-19 outbreak is decreased in Myanmar and less than 1 percent COVID-19 case has been reported in 14 consecutive days. Under 1 percent confirmed cases of COVID-19 have found in travellers entering Myanmar and the access to COVID-19 vaccines in nationwide has increased. So, the government lifted COVID-19 restrictions.
The air travellers must show certificate of completion of a full vaccination against the COVID-19 disease (or) RT-PCR test within 48 hours.
The detailed plans will be issued on 30 November and measures will be taken for those entering Myanmar by rescue flights and through border gates according to the specifications on public health issued on 8 October.
