Preparations have been made at Shwe Pyi Thar Stadium in Lahe Township, Naga Self-Administered Zone, Sagaing Region, for the 2025 Naga New Year Festival.
The 2025 Naga New Year Festival will include Naga folk dances, seven (7) departmental exhibitions, festival-related sports competitions and Naga traditional bonfires.
The preparations for the festival were inspected by Sagaing Region-level ministers, regional-level departments, and the Chairman of the Local Management Committee, U Tun Tun Win, and members.
During the festival, the construction of the arch, the practice of the drum and dancer groups, the dance practice of the Naga ethnic groups, the traditional Panthong drumming program, the conditions of the departmental exhibitions, and the sports competitions to commemorate the Naga traditional New Year festival were inspected.
