An honorary dinner for the International Conference on Applied Research in Education (2025) was held at the Myanmar International Convention Centre-2 in Nay Pyi Taw this evening and Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win attended the dinner.
Also present were members of the SAC, union ministers, Chairman of Union Civil Service Board, Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, deputy ministers, ambassadors to Myanmar from foreign missions, rectors and principals, educations officers from regions and states, professors, scholars, officials from ministries, local and foreign researchers, teachers and students.
First, the Vice-Senior General presented honorary gifts to representatives of organizations that participated in the conference including China Geological Survey, Guangzhou Marine Geological Survey(GMGS), Association of Southeast Asian Teacher Education Network (AsTEN) and Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Technical Education Development(SAMEOTED).
Then, Member of the SAC Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Transport and Communications General Mya Tun Oo presented certificates of honor to a representative of board of patrons, a representative of scholars who scrutinized research papers and a representative of education researchers who submitted papers.
Afterward, Member of the SAC Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Defense General Maung Maung Aye presented certificates of honor to a representative of arts and science researchers, a representative of oceanography and earth science researchers and a representative of MSMEs, technology and vocational training researchers.
Afterward, Member of the SAC Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Yar Pyae presented certificates of honor to a representative of language resources and technology researchers, a representative of Young Generation Scientists and a representative of the organizing committee.
Then, the Vice-Senior General and attendees enjoyed the dinner.
During the dinner, artists from the Myanmar Radio and Television of the Ministry of Information and Fine Arts Department of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, students from Yangon University of Education and universities and degree colleges of education and staff from the Ministry of Education entertained the guests with music and dances.
After the dinner, the Vice-Senior General presented an honorary basket of flowers and cash rewards for performers and cordially greeted the attendees.
