Education, Science and Technology for Brighter and More Prosperous Societies.”
The three branches – education, science and technology — are intertwining one another, and they become an dynamic force for the prosperity of the human society when combined with research and innovation.
The word “research” means “in search of knowledge.”
The Myanmar dictionary defines it as an activity to find something thoroughly. Research can discover new general knowledge, enter new areas and find new innovations. It can also serve as a proof for the new solidifying new ideas, solve the challenges and broaden the scope academic knowledge. So, research can be termed as a driving force for innovations and progress.
Research activities will facilitate the development of new technologies for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, foster the expansion of new markets, and contribute to the production of skilled workers equipped with the necessary skills and qualifications for technical and vocational education and training.
Today’s international research conference is expected to open new doors for important collaboration in research and development.
The state is enforcing a policy aimed at advancing agriculture and farming through modern methods to ensure the country’s prosperity and food security, while also promoting the comprehensive development of other economic sectors.
Experts will be essential for the successful implementation of modern farming practices. To produce human resources in agriculture, livestock, and industrial technology, 85 basic education high schools are being established in various districts, offering industrial, agricultural, and farming education. These schools will be accessible to individuals who have completed KG+9.
Through this initiative, individuals who achieve excellent results will have the opportunity to pursue further education at relevant universities and colleges.
As the country continues to require a significant number of experts, the state is taking measures to develop knowledgeable and skilled human resources.
Officials, teachers, and students are encouraged to work together in this effort.
The expansion of research activities that contribute to increasing productivity must be encouraged.
If new technologies, developed from research findings, can be transferred to industries and knowledge shared with organizations requiring such findings, it will be possible to effectively support the national economy’s development in a short time.
