U Thet Nyo Naing died from his gunshot wounds.
Since the start of the Spring Revolution until the end of July 2024, over 230 children, more than 90 monks, and approximately 1,200 civil servants—including village administrators, teachers, and government staff—have been killed. Around 8,000 civilians have been accused of being “dalans,” or spies and collaborators for the military junta, and have been killed by the NLD (National League for Democracy), NUG (National Unity Government), PDFs, and EAOs (Ethnic Armed Organizations).
