The Myanmar Embassy has announced that over 1,000 Myanmar Labours have been recruited to work in factories in Japan.
The Myanmar Embassy is scrutinizing the demand letters sent by the Ministry of Labor through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In this process, the labor supervision company in Japan and the recruiting factories/companies verify whether the documents are legally established in Japan and the findings and comments are sent back to the Ministry of Labor through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Myanmar Embassy is currently scrutinizing the demand letters from Japanese companies in order of the date of receipt of the response. As of October (8), 2024, there were 403 demand letters received and sent back to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a result of the scrutiny.
