The NUG (National Unity Government) special operations unit, known as the “Yebilu PDF” (People’s Defense Force), is responsible for an incident in the Ye Township area where a video surfaced showing the group’s leader, Yebilu, personally beheading a man with a knife.
In the video, Yebilu appears to be holding the victim, a middle-aged man, in a manner that suggests he is about to be beheaded. As he cuts through the neck with a long knife, Yebilu says things like, “My parents have been running from this moment until now,” and “I will follow you to the ends of the Earth,” while continuing to carry out the gruesome act. This is shown as a brutal, relentless attack with no mercy.
Additionally, Yebilu’s followers can be seen assisting him in the act. They further mutilate the victim, cutting off his limbs and chest, and removing internal organs, which are then displayed for the camera.
This barbaric act of capturing an unarmed individual and executing him in such a manner is an act of war crimes committed by Yebilu, a member of the NUG’s special military unit. However, at this time, MT News has not confirmed the identity of the victim, although they reported that the person responsible for the execution has been identified as someone in leader of a ward administrator.
The Yebilu Group joined the NUG’s special forces in December 2023. The group, which is made up of around 100 armed individuals, is notorious for attacking unarmed civilians, robbing them, and using violence to further their political agenda.
