The 100th Anniversary Dinner for Myanmar Economics Education was held on this evening at the Myanmar International Convention Center (MICC-II) in Nay Pyi Taw, attended by Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win.
Daw Than Than Nwe, wife of the Vice-Senior General, Council members and their wives, Union level persons,Union Ministers and their wives, Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council, senior military officers, Deputy Ministers, Members of the Steering Committee and Sub Committee for the Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Myanmar Economics Education, representatives from business academic associations,UMFCCI and sister associations, veteran teachers of Universities of Economics, students, alumni resource persons, officials and invitees attended.
First, Vice-Senior General Soe Win gave a speech of honor.
Then, Dr Kan Zaw, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, handed over a gift commemorating the 100th anniversary of Myanmar Economic Education to Vice-Senior General Soe Win.
After that, Dr Kan Zaw presented the rectors of Yangon, Monywa and Meiktila Universities of Economic and the principal of the National Management Degree College with gifts commemorating the 100th anniversary of Myanmar Economic Education.
Next, the Vice-Senior General and his wife shared a celebratory dinner together with those who attended the ceremony.
During the dinner, artists from the Myanmar Radio and Television under the Ministry of Information and the Fine Art Department under the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, former students from universities of economics and employees of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations performed songs and dances.
After the celebratory dinner, the Vice-Senior General presented flower baskets and cash prizes to the artists who performed.
Following this, the Vice-Senior General and his wife warmly greeted the attendees of the ceremony.
