It needs to sell large quantities of quality tyres without prioritizing profits to meet the domestic demand. He noted that it is necessary to seek market shares for products of MEC as well as that of other domestic businesses. As tyres are imported due to domestic demand spending foreign currencies, people buy it at high prices. So, locally-produced tyres must be sold at fair prices for people. It is necessary to do research on market requirements and types of common use tyres in the market in order to seek more market shares at home and abroad. Emphasis must be placed on manufacturing of products at full capacity, and staff and employees must be encouraged with welfare and deserved awards for their work performances. Moreover, it is necessary to manufacture tyres for agricultural machinery as Myanmar prioritizes agricul[1]tural tasks. Efforts must be made for production of high quality tyres at home and raise rubber products.
The Senior General presented cash awards for staff of the factory to an official.
Tyre Factory (Ywama) manu[1]factures Tri Star brand tyres and exports it to foreign countries. The tyres of factory are favourite in users at foreign markets due to its high quality. In his guidance, the Senior General said that undertaking of the agriculture and livestock arms in Yangon Region aims to provide plentiful meat, fish and vegetables to some eight million population of the region at fair prices. It needs to sell these products to Tatmadaw members and State service personnel at reduced prices more than the street prices as well as to the people at fair prices. Especially, it must contribute to welfare of low-income people from factories. The military command and Yangon Region government need to coordinate sale of agriculture and livestock products for public consumption at fair prices. Emphasis must be placed on sale of essential basic foodstuffs at reduced prices. It needs to expand breeding of broilers, layers and layer rucks. If cost of inputs and production charge declines, prices of agricultural and livestock foodstuffs can be lesser. So, the military command, the regional government, MEC and Myanmar Economic Holding Public Co Ltd have to coordinate sales of products to have the success.
