Journalists, authors and leaders of religious organizations were conferred with honorary titles and medals of Sithu and Thiri Pyan Chi, according to an order of State Administration Council issued on 17 November.
Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win was conferred Maha Thary Sithu Title. A total of 38 persons including authors U Wun (Min Thu Wun) and Saya Zaw gyi (Zaw Gyi), journalist U Ohn Kyaing ( Hanthawady U Ohn Kyaing), Lt-Gen Aung Lin Dway of SAC, Mahn Nyein Maung, U Thein Nyunt, U Khin Maung Swe, Daw Aye Nu Sein, Jeng Phang Naw Taung, U Moung Har, U Sai Lone Hsai, Saw Daniel, Dr Banya Aung Moe, U Shwe Kyein, generals and Lieutenant generals were conferred Sithu titles.
In addition, the recipients include one Maha Thray Sithu Title, 41 Sithu Title, 45 ThiriPyanChi Title, 19 Zeya Kyaw Htin Title, 63 Wunna Kyaw Htin Title, 7 Alinka Kyaw Swa Title, 8 Theitpa Kyaw Swa Title, 3 medals and certificates for military gallantry, one Ye Thiha, 21 Ye Thura, 155 Ye Bala, 1 Ye Thurein, 1 Ye Kyaw Swa, and 5 Ye Kyaw Thu for police gallantry medals, 186 Honory Medals for Excellent Performance in Managerial Field (First Class), 8 for the (Second Class) and 20 for the (Third Class), 49 Honory Medals for Excellent Performance in Social Field (First Class), 43 for the (Second Class) and 93 for the (Third Class), 11 recipients for Excellent Performance in Agro-business (First Class), 23 for Excellent Performance in Industrial business (First Class), 4 for Excellent Performance in Service business (Second Class) and 80 for the (Third Class), 2 for Excellent Performance in Science Field (First Class), 1 for Excellent Performance in Arts (First Class), and one for the (Third Class), 12 for Excellent Performance in Technology (Third Class), 12 for Excellent Performance Excellent Performance in Fine Arts (First Class), 46 for the (Second Class) and 40 for the (Third Class), 5 for Excellent Performance in literature (First Class), 3 for the (Second Class) and 2 for the (Third Class).
Moreover, 19 generals from the Office of Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy and Air) were conferred Zeyya Kyaw Htin titles.
