Chairman of State Administration Council (SAC), Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended a dinner ceremony to mark the 100th Anniversary of Myanmar Engineering Education and the opening ceremony of Naypyitaw State Polytechnic University held this evening at the university.
The joint secretary of the council, General Ye Win Oo, Council members; Union Ministers and Union Level persons, Chairman of Naypyitaw Council, high-ranking military officers from the Office of the Commander- in-Chief of Defence, Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, Deputy Ministers, Rectors of various universities, Vice Chancellors, engineers, the invited guests, teachers and officials attended.
First, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing arrived at the place where the honor dinner ceremony will be held, where he was greeted by the Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr Myo Thein Kyaw and officials.
After that, the SAC Chairman and those who attended the ceremony had a celebratory dinner together.
Before and during dinner, students and artists from the Arts Department of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, artists from Myanmar Radio and Television of the Ministry of Information and Myawady Music Group under the command of the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Welfare perform music, descriptive dances and ethnic culture dance.
After that, the SAC Chairman presented flower baskets and cash prizes to students and artists and greeted them warmly.
