The Central Bank of Myanmar(CBM) announced it will sell an additional USD 35 million to fuel importers through the foreign exchange market (FX Trading Platform). Therefore, the total sales of the bank were USD 50 million this November, according to reports from the Central Bank of Myanmar.
In November, the Central Bank conducted two sales of dollars: USD 15 million on November 4 and an additional USD 35 million on November 16, and during these two times, totaling USD 50 million dollars were sold.
In addition to dollars, the Central Bank sold other currencies, including the Thai Baht and Chinese Yuan, on seven occasions during November 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, and 12. Over these seven sales, more than 171 million Thai Baht and over 12 million Chinese Yuan were sold.
