Ma Naw Naw Aye, Myanmar’s first female wine expert, has worked with 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 for many years since 2002. She obtained her 𝐜𝐚𝐭 𝐝’𝐨𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐞 𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 from 𝐂𝐡â𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐮 𝐝𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐳𝐞 𝐋𝐚 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐞 in 𝐃𝐫ô𝐦𝐞, southern France and also received 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐢𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 from 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭é 𝐝𝐮 𝐕𝐢𝐧.
Ma Naw Naw Aye has successfully produced internationally acclaimed wines such as 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐨 ၊ 𝐒𝐚𝐮𝐯𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜 ၊ 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐮𝐯𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐧 ၊ 𝐒𝐲𝐫𝐚𝐡 ၊ 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐳 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨 ၊ 𝟒𝟓 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐚𝐰𝐧𝐲 ၊ 𝐒𝐲𝐫𝐚𝐡 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 ၊ 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐍𝐨𝐢𝐫. She also successfully produced the internationally recognized 𝐈𝐧𝐥𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐚𝐫 wine, the first wine with its trademark from Myanmar.
The wines produced by Ma Naw Naw Aye have received accolades not only in Myanmar but also worldwide. In 2024, she won awards at the 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐞 & 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 held in London.
