It was reported that a fishing boat and a military vessel of the Tatmadaw (Navy) cooperated to rescue 12 tiger raft workers who had been floating in the Myanmar’s maritime water for three days.
The workers, who were floating in the sea about 25 miles south of Haingyi Island, Ayeyarwady Region, in the waters of Myanmar’s maritime area, were rescued at around 10:30 AM on November 9. They were found by a fishing boat and the naval ship, which was carrying out security duties, responded and transferred the workers to the military vessel. The workers were then provided with necessary medical care and attention.
