Myanmar Railways has announced that Thasi – Mandalay Route No. (TH-301) up and Mandalay-Thasi Route No. (TH-302) down RBE Passenger Trains have started running from November 11.
Thasi-Mandalay train departs from Thasa Station at 5:30 a.m and arrives at Mandalay Station at 9:30 a.m. The Mandalay-Thasi train journey will leave Mandalay Station at 3:00 pm and arrive at Thasi Station at 7:00 pm.
There will be stops at every station on the way and this RBE train coach can carry a total of 100 passengers. The ticket price is 5,000 kyats per person from the beginning to the end of the trip, and 2,500 kyats if you ride half way.
Myanmar Railways will carry out plans to connect more coaches and increase the number of trains as the number of passengers increases in the currently operated train trips. Myanmar Railways has informed that tourists and parents can ride safely.
