It is known that on the full moon day of TansongMone, which is a significant day for Buddhists, various merit-making and religious ceremonies are being held across the country.
On this day, many Buddhists engage in activities such as preparing offerings for stupas and monasteries, making donations, and performing traditional practices like walking around stupas for prayer. People also take part in charity and provide alms and offerings, as well as support the feeding and nurturing of monks. These activities, which are in line with Buddhist traditions, are a way of accumulating merit and performing acts of kindness and devotion.
In addition, in some townships and wards within the Yangon Region, there are scenes of people walking around stupas and making offerings to the respective monasteries with great devotion and enthusiasm.
