On November 5, Vladimir Putin received letters of credence from 28 newly appointed ambassadors of foreign nations. The ceremony occurred in the St. Alexander Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace. Myanmar’s Ambassador Thit Linn Ohn was included in the list of diplomats presenting their Letters of Credence to Vladimir Putin in the Alexander Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace.
The ceremony followed the protocol that was in place before the COVID-19 restrictions. That is, each diplomat approached the head of state, personally handed over their Letter of Credence, and then posed for a photo together.
Unlike previous similar ceremonies, the President of Russia did not dwell on the characteristics of relations with each country represented by the newly appointed ambassadors in the hall during his speech.
Myanmar was mentioned among the “friendly, cooperation-oriented countries,” notably being listed first among the eleven countries.
