On November 1, the Tharawati PDF group, which allegedly killed the head of Yaetwinkone village for informing, released a statement claiming that the PDF also killed a man and all his family members from Pyinpon village after accusing them of being Pyusawhti.

People’s Defense Army Battalion under NUG operating in Bago Division – 3801, Company-2 (Phoenix DF) reported that the PDFs were deployed to Bago Division at approximately 6:45 am on November 1. In Tharayawati District, Nat Talin Township, U Zaw Gyi, the head of the household, was shot and killed at his home in Saungwat village, accused of being the leader of Pyusawhti. Additionally, the gang’s confession reveals that they stole a motorcycle belonging to U Zaw Gyi.

On the morning of November 2, in Bago Division, Tharayawati District, Nat Talin Township, PyinPone Village, U Chit Po was identified as an informer and a PyuSawHti. The People’s Defense Army, Tharawati District, No. (1) Battalion (P23801); Division-2 (Phoenix DF) captured U Chit Po and shot him under the pretext that he was attempting to escape.

In addition to that, all of U Chit Po’s family members were arrested at 5:30 pm on November 2 after confirming that they were soldiers, police, and PyuSawHti. The People’s Defense Army under NUG, Tharawati District, No. (1) Battalion-3801 reported that the PDFs from Division-2 (Phoenix DF) killed U Chit Po’s family members again because They were detained under the pretext of having fled at 7:00 that day.

The PDF identified PyinPone Village as PyuSawHti Village. Although the Phoenix DF group acknowledged that they killed U Chit Po and all his family members, the gender, age, and number of people killed were not disclosed.
