A person carrying pistols and ammunition was arrested in Wall Township, Bago Region.
On October 23rd, 6:30 p.m., a joint security forces and Wall Township team searched the Mawlamyine-Mandalay passenger vehicle near Nyaungkharshey village. Reports indicate that 16 pistols and 530 rounds of ammunition were seized from the passenger, Ko Ko Naing (b) Ko Naing, who was illegally carrying them.
According to the identification of the arrested suspect, on October 24th at 11:00 a.m., the joint team seized the weapons and ammunition from Aung Zin Thu, who was set to transport them to the Sagaing Region. In Mahaaungmya Township, Yadana Bummi West Ward, along the 38 x 85 road, further arrests were made. Based on the identification of the two defendants, the confiscated weapons and ammunition were intended for Karen State, Kyainseikgyi Township. Upon discovering that they were being transported to Chaung U Township, Payathonzu City, Sagaing Region, legal action has been initiated against them, and the network of offenders is under investigation and identification.
