The US Embassy in Myanmar announced that the United States will provide an additional $3 million for the Myanmar floods that have affected more than a million people.

The United States International Development Agency (USAID) will provide $3 million in funding to help flood-affected people in Myanmar affected by Typhoon Ragi.

This is the result of a trip by a team of USAID disaster response experts to flood-affected areas in Myanmar in early October to meet with USAID’s humanitarian assistance partners to learn about the needs of flood-affected people and explore alternative methods for disaster response.

This additional flood response funding will facilitate humanitarian assistance delivery by partners, including the distribution of relief supplies and other assistance and supplemental assistance to USAID’s partners continuing to respond to the damage. #USA #USAID #mtnews #mtnewsupdate
