As the Central Bank of Myanmar utilizes the FX Trading Platform for fuel, it has been reported that over 1 billion US dollars have been sold through this platform to provide the foreign currency required by oil producers and importers.
This figure represents the total sold by the central bank from April to October 2024.
As the central bank, individuals going abroad for work, those seeking medical treatment, and students have been selling them for approximately US dollar 300 to 500 each since May 31.
