The Yangon Region Gold Industry Association has warned gold shop owners in Yangon Region to install CCTV cameras in their homes and gold transport vehicles.
The Yangon Region Gold Entrepreneurs Association informed that the gold shop owners should install CCTV cameras around their homes and parking lots, install emergency alarm bells, install cameras in their vehicles carrying gold and silver and install GPS systems in advance, as well as installing CCTV cameras in their gold shops.
On October 21st, at 6:30 PM, the Yangon Region Gold Entrepreneurs Association was notified after a gun was fired at a vehicle carrying gold and five viss of gold was robbed in front of Farm No. 2, Aye Yeik Mon Road, Ward 4, Hlaing Township.
