This well-known destination is particularly popular among tourists from Myanmar and abroad, including those from countries like Thailand, Vietnam, and Korea.

During the evenings, many people come to Taungthaman Bridge for the beautiful lake views, and there are also many boat riders. Taungthaman’s Madhuca Plain has become a popular recreation camp for those looking to relax. There are between 50,000 and 100,000 visitors on weekends, and over 100,000 people come to see the full moon,” said U Soe Win.

Visiting tourists from Mandalay, Pyin Oo Lwin, Taunggyi, and Yangon frequently contribute to the increase in international tourists in the area.
