The MNDAA announced that there was an airstrike by the Myanmar army in the Nam Hu village, Kunlong Township, Special Region (1) Kokang District, Shan State, before one o’clock in the morning today, October 20.
The statement said that at midnight, the sound of fighter jets suddenly sounded, and bombs were dropped from the air, causing people to panic. Locals are posting on social media that the area is the base of the MNDAA, but the MNDAA’s statement states that since it is not a war zone, no armed forces are stationed there.
“Their troops were replaced in that area. It is nonsense to say that there is no. Drop the bomb because of them. I don’t know when this situation will end. As long as there is no peace, either MNDAA supporters or Even those who don’t encourage people will suffer,” said a former university student in 1988 when questioned by MT News.
At the beginning of the Lashio War and after the war, the capital of Special Region (1) Laukkaing, aerial bombardments were being carried out in Theinni District and Lashio City by the Myanmar army, MNDAA announced.
They also reported that the power control room of the power plant was damaged due to the aerial bombardment of the power plant in Nam Khoo River in Nung Mon Village, Thanlwin Township, Theinni District, on October 16, at around 6 p.m. Regarding the power plant, “Did you build that factory? What are you building in this country?” posted by a social network user.
