Approximately 200,000 tourists visited the Bagan Ancient Cultural Heritage Area in Nyaung U Township, Mandalay Region, on this year’s full moon day, as reported by members of the pagoda. On the day of the full moon, people across the country engage in good deeds at the pagodas. The Bagan region, home to numerous ancient cultural heritages, welcomed around 100,000 tourists on the full moon day last year. This year, approximately 200,000 tourists have visited and earned merit.
