‌According to demand letters released by Myanmar Embassy in Japan, over 400 Japan companies will provide jobs for more than 1400 Myanmar workers.
It said it verified demand letters received from the Ministry of Labour via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a timely manner.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs resubmits its findings and remarks to the Ministry of Labour after verifying whether the labor supervisory companies and factories are legally established.
After verification until 26 August, the embassy submitted 404 demand letters to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
A total of 340 Myanmar male workers and 1110 Myanmar female workers are expected will be recruited.
As a result of Japan’s demand letter released on 30 September, over 350 Japanese companies will employ more than 1100 Myanmar workers.
