Karen State, Hpa-An Township, Win Sein Village, north of Samanya Village, Zeyarthiri Ward. It is reported that a group conducting a census near the gate of Win Sein Monastery was shot at, and Three soldiers were killed, and three were injured.
At approximately 7:00 a.m. today, October 10, a Hijet vehicle transporting soldiers from Sathara-7 was struck by RPGs fired by the KNU/PDF joint team at close range, resulting in the deaths of 3 soldiers and injuries to 3 others.
As a result, the injured and deceased were sent to the military hospital. Following the shooting, one RPG was confiscated, and it is reported that the military is pursuing these terrorist groups, specifically the KNU/PDF joint group.
On October 6, 2024, the 2024 population and household census was conducted in Long Loon Township, Tanintharyi Region, at the Basic Education Post-Primary School (Go Inn). Teacher Daw May Mi Moe, along with Daw Ohmar Tun, Daw Khin Aye Set, Daw Yin Yin Soe, and Daw Mya Aye from Basic Education High School (Yae Phyu), and Daw Phyu Phyu Htwe, principal of Basic Education Primary School (Cadet Nge Thain), as well as Daw Thida, Clerk of Yae Phyu Village District Administration Office, were abducted by PDFs. Additionally, on October 4, in Chin State, there were incidents where the PDF Zoland group abducted U Kam Liang Thang from Tedim Township.
