The commandos rescued wife of a Tatmadaw officer, who was abducted by PDF terrorists, from Pakkoku of Magway Region within nine hours, State Administration Council released a statement today.
NUG- and CRPH-proxy PDF terrorists threatened with arms and abducted a woman who lived in No (1) Ward in Pokkoku, Magway Region this morning.
While Ma Han Nway Oo who is wife of a military officer and owner of Aung Sin Min pickled tea leaf and assorted fried beans shop, daughter of U Zaw Oo, was presenting alms in front of her house at about 6.30 am today, two men and one woman from PDF terrorist group arrived by two motorcycles. Then, PDF terrorists threatened families of Ma Han Nway Oo and staff with arms and took one necklace, a pair of earrings, eight hand phones together with Ma Han Nway Oo to Okkan Village.
Shortly after the incident happened, local Tatmadaw members, members of Myanmar Police Force in cooperation with local people conducted investigation process. According to the information from local people who wish peace and stability, it can find out that Ma Han Nway Oo was seized at the explanation hall of Taung Ywa Dam in Myaing Township.
The security forces including members of commando went by helicopter, raided the place and performed searching operation. The PDF terrorists retreated to the west and southwest after they engaged with security forces. The security forces including members of commando safely rescued Ma Han Nway Oo at about 2.40 pm today.
At present, the security forces continued to carry out a necessary sweeping security operation around Taung Ywa Dam.
