According to the Yangon Region Public Transport Committee (YRTC), Yangon-based expressway lines operate daily, and the number of passengers is usually around 9,000 to 10,000 people.
According to YRTC’s latest release on 5th of October, 212 highway passenger lines operated 704 vehicles and 9735 passengers entered/exited.
In addition, according to the last two days of highway traffic statistics released by YRTC, on October 4, there were 9,276 passengers in 692 vehicles on 212 highway passenger lines in Yangon. On October 3, 682 vehicles and 9780 passengers left 218 highway passenger lines.
“When was flooded, tourism dropped a bit. Now, are returning to regular travel. vacation There are people who go to the office for work rather than people who travel for pleasure. Bus Tickets can also be sold,” said a person working at a tourism agency in Yangon.
