If only the elections were held, they would help and support everything. “China has many interests regarding Myanmar,” said a political analyst, Ko Khant (Mandalay).

He said that China always supports the general election to be held conveniently nationwide and the resumption of democratic transition.
SAC also announced that the Tatmadaw had to take power due to the political problem of vote fraud and political fraud in the last 2020 election, and the next election will be held in 2025. Due to these circumstances, the election planned by SAC to be held next year, even if it is not nationwide, is likely to be held in Division and State where elections can be held, and political analysts have observed that SAC wants to return to the political path and the parliamentary path.
“In 2025, SAC wants to prove they will deliver the election as promised. They also want to prove that they are following the path of democracy. After the election, the new government can gain more legitimacy in the international community. Myanmar is also a significant country for China. That is why China supports Myanmar’s election. China-Myanmar friendship has been strong for many years. I think they are going with the principle that China and Myanmar must succeed,” said a local veteran journalist who did not want to be named.
