Yangon-Mandalay Expressway: According to the highway fire station, a fire erupted in an Arindama Express passenger car between milepost No. 256/6 and 256/7 on October 7 at 11:50 p.m.
According to the investigators, the Arindama Express passenger car, which was carrying six women and four men, hit the brakes and caught fire on its right rear two tyres.
“Only two wheels of the passenger car were burned. There were no injuries to the passengers or drivers,” stated an officer from the highway fire station.
The Pay Pin Lay Expressway Police Station has initiated a case against the 35-year-old passenger vehicle driver under Section 285 of the Penal Code.
