Myanmar Post under the Ministry of Transport and Communications will issue a special postage stamp(200 Kyats) on 9 October 2024 at 9:30 a.m. to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the UPU at Nay Pyi Taw Central Post Office, Yangon Post Office, Mandalay Post Office, and other regional and state post offices.
Nay Pyi Taw Central Post Office, Yangon Post Office, and Mandalay Post Office will offer a special programme that prints the date on stamps and first day covers on launch day.
New stamps have already been distributed to regional and state post offices. Anyone who wants to purchase a first day cover should contact U Nyi Nyi Lwin from Nay Pyi Taw Central Post Office at 09 450000226, U Aung Soe from Yangon Post Office at 09 424000458, and U Tin Maung Myint from Mandalay Post Office at 09 424000515.
