Mandalay Region, Meiktila Township, Kyitawkone Ward – it has been reported that a 75-year-old man died in a collision between a water truck and a motorcycle on the Yangon-Mandalay highway on October 2 at 10:00 a.m.
“The older man’s motorcycle collided with a water truck in the middle of the road. He passed away while the injured man was being transferred from Meiktila Hospital to Mandalay Hospital,” said a local.
U Aung Thein, 75 years old, is a motorcycle driver from Meiktila City and a resident of the Kyitawkone Ward Area (4). He sustained a laceration to the back of his head, experienced a bleeding nose, and subsequently died.
The 50-year-old U Thet Khaing Aye, operating a water delivery vehicle at the time of a car accident, is under investigation at No. (2) Area Police Station under Section 304-a of the Penal Code.
