During the four-year term of the current SAC government, the Special Investigation Department prosecuted 43 money laundering cases. It was able to confiscate approximately 65,000 million Kyats and more than 500,000 dollars as public funds.
The cases investigated by the Special Investigation Department received a lot of public funds from 2021 to 2024 under the State Planning and Administration Council. As of August 15, 43 cases have been prosecuted under the Anti-Money Laundering Law, and the relevant courts have sentenced 12 people to various penalties. In addition, Myanmar Kyat 64,279.175 million in foreign currency, including US$536,753.32, was saved as public funds.

In addition, the 119 cases assigned to the Special Investigation Department were confiscated as public funds 125,698.77 million Myanmar Kyats, 1278.02 US dollars and including 418,320 Thai baht.
