In September 26, President of the Belarus sent Condolences to SAC Chairman Prime Minister of Myanmar Senior General Min Aung Hlaing in connection with the victims of the typhoon.
“Unfortunately, your country was not spared the tragedy brought by Typhoon Yagi. Hundreds of residents became victims of the elements, and serious damage was caused to the national economy. In this difficult time, on behalf of the Belarusian people and myself, I send words of deep sympathy to you, the families of the victims, and all citizens who suffered from the consequences of the typhoon,” the condolences read.
Alexander Lukashenko wished that the situation in Myanmar would normalize as soon as possible, and that people would again feel safe and calm.
