On 27 September, Myanmar’s Thant Zin faced Japan’s Takeru at ONE Lumpini Event in Bangkok, and he was knocked out in the second round.
During the first round, Thant Zin landed a powerful strike that took down Takeru to the canvas, prompting the referee to begin the count. Takeru recovered, regained his composure, and delivered a decisive blow that ended the fight.
As part of the evening’s second match, Myanmar’s Soe Lin Oo faced off against Thai-Algerian kickboxer Nabil, who had a noticeable height advantage of two head lengths. Soe Lin Oo lost the bout by unanimous decision despite his best efforts. Due to Nabil’s superior reach and strategic fighting style, he could control the match and prevent Soe Lin Oo from getting into a rhythm.
Thant Zin and Soe Lin Oo showed great skill and determination, but it wasn’t their night. Their performances made the ONE Championship an exciting event that showcased the ONE Championship’s competitive spirit. #ONEChampionship #ThantZin #SoeLinOo #Myanmar #mtnews #mtnewsupdate
