Mandalay Region, Meiktila Township: The body of a man was discovered decomposing in the Kyauktai Dam in Kyauktai Village on September 24 at 8:15 p.m., as reported by the Youth Force Social Assistance Association retrieved the body.
The deceased was a 30-year-old man who drowned and was discovered in a decomposed state.
“Raised arms in the dam and from recovery, it was a man’s body,” said a Youth Force Social Assistance Association member.
The rotting corpse is reportedly without an owner, and the body was recovered by members of the Youth Force Social Assistance Association, who assisted in transporting it to the mortuary at Meiktila Public Hospital.
