Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing separately participated in the choice of arms for cadets of the 67th intake of the Defence Services Academy and the 27th intake of the Defence Services Technological Academy on September 23 and today.
Accompanying the Senior General were Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Vice-Admiral Htain Win, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief,the commander of Central Command, the commandants of the academies, and other responsible personnel. They individually met the cadets, reviewing their academic and military excellence, passions, and efforts during their course to determine their suitability for respective military roles (Army, Navy and Air).
Later, the Senior General, along with his entourage, had lunch with the cadets at the DSA’s Anawrahta Battalion mess hall and the DSTA’s Pyinnya Tanzaung cadet mess hall.
They interacted closely with the cadets, addressing their needs and providing assistance.
In the afternoon of September 23, the Senior General and party visited the local military hospital in PyinOoLwin, meeting injured officers and soldiers who were wounded while fulfilling their duties related to national stability, security, and the rule of law. They engaged with the wounded personnel, inquired about their injuries and medical treatments, provided necessary support based on their feedback, and distributed food supplies.
Following this, the Senior General inquired about the hospital’s needs and acted on the requests from responsible personnel.
The Senior General and party later inspected the regiments, battalions, and training schools within the PyinOoLwin Station by car.
This morning, the wife of the Senior General, Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, and her group also visited the PyinOoLwin People’s Hospital, where they provided midday meals and cash assistance to the local patients receiving treatment. The hospital’s director accepted the donations.
Daw Kyu Kyu Hla then visited the maternity and pediatric wards, offering words of encouragement and supportto the patients.
Subsequently, Daw Kyu Kyu Hla and her group visited the local military hospital in PyinOoLwin, where they met patients in the maternity and pediatric wards, offering words of encouragement and providing food supplies. Additionally, Daw Kyu Kyu Hla donated midday meals and provided cash assistance to the officers, soldiers, and their families receiving treatment at the hospital, which were accepted by the medical superintendent.
She also observed the consumption of midday meals by the officers and soldiers in the hospital’s nutrition division, offering support and encouragement.
