The terror incident took place near village Nurbangyi, located in Ywangan Township, on 21st September. According to the security forces, these six PDF terrorists arrived at the Daw Khin Mar Wai (or) Daw Hmai Wai, a resident of the village, in a field known locally as “Myinkabar”, about 1 mile southwest of the village. After that, these terrorists interrogated her and accused her groundlessly of Dalan or the informants.
Due to the killing of 6 PDF members, Daw Khin Mar Wai (or) Daw Hmai Wai(47) died from a bullet hole in the left forehead, a puncture wound from the back of the head and an injection wound in the left chest.
In this case, Daw Khin Mar Wai (or) Daw Hmai Wai and her husband, U Myo Thant, were picking peanuts in the southwest of Nwar Bang Gyi village. At 9:00 a.m., these six PDF terrorists arrived with rifles; his wife was taken to the south of the field, saying, “Hmai Wai,” are you? and tied her hands. About 15 minutes later, when he heard the sound of the gunshots, the husband said that he went to check and found his wife dead, according to news reports close to the security forces.
